What I say:

Jeff kindly sent me this book for reviewing and I am still in awe with it, it was so good.
The characters are amazing because they seem so real, as none of them are perfect (far from it actually)
David Ray was a haunted young man, who while I hated him for what he did, I also found myself feeling very sorry for what he had suffered.
As for Tanner, Maria, Lana, Noah, Nick, Bryan and Kate, well we get to see how they are coping 20 years later with the fact that the saw their friends die in front of them,  and the thing is that they all cope in different ways.
Allthough this book is purely fiction, I think it partly does show people what happens when someone goes through a traumatizing experience and how everyone deals with it in different ways.
And it also has paranormal parts in it which are perfectly integrated into the book, and in the end someone leaves us with an well known dilema.
And lastly allthough not a horror story it was quite scary in some points and has you gripping onto the pages of the book or in my case gripping the sides of the computer, dying (not literally of course) to read what's going to happen next.
I give this book 5 outt of 5 and I can't wait to read what Jeff writes next.

Sigh, okay so this book is amzing, it's incredible funny buy sooo tragic. The first time I read it (so many years ago, I finished it in denial, I just couldn't believe that Snape would.... well you know... do what he did.

I loved the fact that we get to learn more about Voldemort and his past and the steps he is willing to take to make himself immortal.

We also see the returning of an old character who brings us a surprise and a tragic ending once more.

I'm actually scared about reading the last book, it doesn't matter that I've already read it about 5 times, it always makes me cry.

I give it 5/5

My opinion:
Angel sent me this book to review and I have to say I am glad because I really enjoyed this book. 
As a fan of Criminal Minds and C.S.I this book had the analisis of the criminal behaviour and the lab parts.
The main protagonist is Kelly Garret a criminalist in the town of Nakeita, she's a good cop and is the daughter of one. At first Kelly seems to have a perfect life: good friends, a good job and the man of her dreams, but these killings will dig up pieces of her past long forgotten.
The best friend is Chad, a cute and professional fellow policeman and Kelly's childhood friend.
The bad guy, is of course the killer, but just maybe there might be more than catches the eye.
The best part of this book is that allthough you can guess who the killer is, you always have a few options and it's not until the last couple of chapters that you actually confirm who it is.
The relationships in between the characters was well written and while sometimes tragic other times it was also funny.
I love the cover of the book as it gives you an idea of what you will find inside.
As for the ending, well I think it was open so there's a distinct possibility that we might here more from Kelly and her friends in the future. I hope so :)
So thank you Angel for giving me the opportunity to read your book and I'll keep an eye out for your new books :)

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

I say:
I love and hate this book so much!!! I love it because we meet Tonks, Mrs Black (who is amazing even if she's evil), Shacklebolt, Grawp, and of course my favorite female character in the series Luna^^ Umbridge is a revolting woman with horrible tendencies and Fudge is an incompetent foul, but they were well written characters.
But the end, why? why? Did Rowling have to do that? Cries. Not only that but now I have to embrace myself for Half-Blood prince and that ending.
I felt really sorry for Severus Snae in this book as we get to see why he's so bitter and why he hates Harry and the Potter name so much.
Luna is great she's crazy she manages to say something totally ridiculous and yet make it sound as if it's the most normal thing in the world.
A character we haven't heard from in the last couple of books will make a small appearence. And the rest of Harry's friends will discover something new about Neville.
We also meet the DA a group which I would love to join if it wasn't for the fact that I'm supposed to be a Slytherin and no Slytherin's are in it ;)
Fred and George were AWSOME and their pranks can only get better. And I've warmed up a tiny bit to Ginny now that she's not so annoyingly obvious with her feelings.
So of to read Half-Blood prince next. See you all soon :)

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, J.K. Rowling

Cries hard!!! Oh I love this book don't get me wrong but the ending is.... If you've read it you know why I'm crying, if you haven't.... what are you waiting for?? Okay no seriously (no pun intended) something bad happens to someone in this book (trying to not give away to many spoilers here) one particular scene has me in tears every single time: When you know who (no not Voldemort) asks Harry to do you know what. Confusing if you haven't read the book or seen the film right?^^
I've only just realized, rereading the books and everything that we see something that is important in future books (wow I seem to be realizing that alot!! :))
In this scene:

He raised his wand into the air and pointed it in the direction of Hagrid's cabin. Harry saw something silvery dart out of it and streak away through the trees like a ghostly bird.

But I am confused as to why Harry doesn't recognize the silvery thing that comes out of the wand, it's not like he hasn't seen it before.
Right now I hate the Lestranges!!!! Why?? (another confusing thing if you haven't read the book)
And poor Draco, allthough he totally deserved it!!!^^
So I'm of to read the Order of the Phoenix.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, J.K. Rowling

For most children, summer vacation is something to look forward to. But not for our 13-year-old hero, who's forced to spend his summers with an aunt, uncle, and cousin who detest him.
With an escaped convict heading on his way to Hogwarts Harry must try to keep himself out of trouble, TRY being the important word.

I haven't really got favorites in this series, but if I have to choose it would be this book. Not only do we get introduced to the amazingly amazing Sirius Black and Remus Lupin, but we also learn more about Harry's parents and Snape.
It was really funny what Harry did to his "aunt" and I loved the The Marauder's and their Map. I bow to Messer's Moony, Prongs and Padfoot, while I kick Wormtail (then again nothing good can come out of a name like Wormtail right??) 
I hate the dementors (shivers, their creepy, but even more in the film I think)
And I just had to put my favorite quote because it was hilarious^^ 
"You look in excellent health to me, Potter, so you will excuse me if I don't let you off homework today. I assure you that if you die, you need not hand it in." I love McGonagall.
I thought Trelawney was a total fraud up until the end, but I'm still unsure about her, for reasons I can't explain for fear of giving away spoilers.
Okay folks I'm of to read The Goblet of Fire and to prepare myself to shed some tears from now on.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, J.K. Rowling

So in the second book Harry's "living" with the Dursleys who are really angry at him when a house elf named Dobby warns him that he's in terrible danger, and is rescued by Ron, Fred and George. After passing the rest of the summer at the burrow. Harry goes back to Hogwarts along with his best friends Ron and Hermione.
But soon Harry starts hearing voices and after someone is petrified he disovers it has to do with something called "The Chamber of Secrets"

Once again as a proclaimed fan of the Harry Potter series I have nothing bad to say.
I love Lucius he's sooo evil :) Dobby is really funny and cute^^
Lockhart is annoing and stupid but that's what he's supposed to be.
The only person I don't like that much in this book is Ginny, I find her a little bit to annoying and obssessed with Harry.
Reading it again after having read the whole series I found some references to things that will appear once more in the future books (cursed necklace and cabinet anyone)
So I'm of to read prisoner of Azkaban, where we get to meet the infamous Sirius Black and Remus Lupin^^

Harry Potter and the philosophers stone, J.K. Rowling

Hi!! (waves at everyone)
So about this book, what can I say that hasn't been said already, not much really. But here it goes.

The first time I read Harry's first adventure I was actually younger than him. At the tender age of nine I had just been traumatized by Stephen King and the Clown of It so I needed a lighter read, without clowns in it.
When my friend came over from England she was starting this book and told me such good things about it that while she read a different book I tried to catch up with her. And catch up I did!! Thankfully we both read at the same pace so we started to read it together.
We screeched in the first quidditch game, we screamed when Harry met Fluffy and jumped up and down in joy at the final feast. While we munched on our own chocolate frogs and berty beans^^
Even now 14 years later (wow has it really been that long??) I still enjoy rereading these books as it makes me remember.
My favorite characters?? Hmm Draco and Snape, from the begining I have insisted that Snape isn't as bad as he seems, and Draco is just cute (he was then and still is) and allthough I like the rest of the characters these two are and always will be (along with Lucius) my favorite characters.
I give it 5 out of 5, because even if it's a childs book it represents a memory, a dream and a future for a lot of people.

Hello!!!
Welcome to my new blog^^ The one I used to have "Your Own Little Special Space" was taken of blogger for unknown reasons and as blogger told me I have taken it off they have no record.... so I have to start again, allthough why I would want to delete my blog is a mystery to me.
Anyway, allthough this one still has to go through a few changes, which I'll be doing soon with help (hopefully) from fellow blogger Alaiel.

Yes okay... It's my dream library, well not exactly but my friend will be doing a painting of one of my book characters in my dream library, hopefully soon and then you'll see it^^
I have a particular afinity with wolfs as my own dog is part wolf.
In my reviews I'll be honest and if I don't like your book I'll say so, but I will also say why and I'll give you in between 1 star and 5 stars.
