What goodreads says:
For Kate Bennet, surviving the car wreck that killed her parents means big changes and even bigger problems. As she begins to see auras and invisible people, Kate must learn to trust Patrick O'Donnell, a handsome Guardian, or risk her life being overrun with Demons. She soon realizes that both she and her heart are in big-time trouble.

My opinion:

Yes this is my second blog tour and I'm soo excited :) I received this ARC in exchange of a honest review and here it is:
So how do I explain this well... lets start from the beginning right? So when I heard about this book I realized I had read something similar sometime ago, well honestly the summary was similar but that's where the similarities end.
This book was really good, I loved the prologue as we get to know Patrick before he becomes a guardian, and I think that was a really good twist.
After the prologue we jump forward in time (a longggg time) and we meet Kate who is preparing for her first day at school with her best friend Lee, who by the way is amazing and sounds a bit like me on a coffee or chocolate rush :) and her boyfriend who is likable but plain (sometimes plain is good believe me) we also get to meet Kate's grandparents, I love grandpa and I was soo surprised when... well you'll see and her twin sisters, who are adorable and funny. And we also meet however briefly Toni immature and unique in his own way, and finally Patrick the new guy at school (enters the hotness)
I really liked this book because although there is a love story (really what did you expect?) It's not the main part of the story, more like a secondary one, the main part is how Kate is adjusting to seeing auras (get it? She sees so she's a seer? Okay totally obvious) and the fight in between guardians and demons for her because she's special.
In the end I felt pretty bad for Aaron but well I knew it was going to happen. And the book leaves us with a cliffhanger (darn I hate those) I can't wait for the next one :)
And the demons? They were great, one of them he is so mafia like I could imagine him there looking all bad ass and everything :)
So I give it 4 stars out of five.
